New Century Legend Mars - S01

While covering the emergence of a new volcanic island, journalist Iwakura stumbles upon a young man with no memory of who he is. The story draws the attention of a mysterious figure named Rush, who locates the amnesiac and reveals the truth: the young man is named Mars, and like Rush, he is not from Earth. Mars was sent with a single mission-to pilot a devastatingly powerful robot called Gaia and destroy Earth if humanity ever tries to expand into space. To prevent interference, Gaia is designed to self-destruct along with the planet should Mars die. With Mars’ memories gone, Rush offers him ten days to learn about Earth’s history before making a choice. Mars must now decide whether to fulfill his mission or defy it to protect the world he no longer remembers.
