New Century Legend Mars
A man with no memory, known as Mars, is found on the volcanic island of Heisei. Unknown to those around him, he is actually an alien sent to Earth to gather information and determine whether the planet should be destroyed. Alongside the giant robot Gaia and haunted by visions of a woman pleading with him to spare the world, Mars chooses to defend Earth instead-even if it means turning against his own kind. However, if Mars dies, Gaia will detonate, taking Earth with it in the explosion.
