Kaiju No. 8
In a world overrun by monstrous creatures called "Kaiju," Kafka Hibino dreams of joining the Defense Force. He makes a promise to enlist alongside his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro, but their lives eventually drift apart. Years later, while working a thankless job cleaning up after Kaiju battles, Kafka crosses paths with Reno Ichikawa, a young man fiercely determined to join the Defense Force. Reno's resolve reignites Kafka's forgotten promise, pushing him to reunite with Mina and fight for humanity's survival.
