Perception Art, once dismissed by the art world, has now captivated audiences globally. This evolving medium engages all five senses, letting people fully immerse themselves in artworks. Kazuya Yamanashi, the son of Perception Art’s pioneering creators, has inherited his late parents' skill and vision for the craft. Now a first-year at Eisen High School, he dreams of becoming the greatest Perception Artist. But Kazuya has another motive for enrolling in this elite school: to reconcile with his estranged childhood friend, Kyou Takise, a third-year student. Their strained relationship isn’t helped by the fact they study in different disciplines. By chance, they’re paired for the exclusive Staircaser competition, where the winners will represent Eisen for the year. To have any hope of victory, Kazuya and Kyou must first find a way to move past their conflicts.
