Figure 17: Tsubasa & Hikaru - S01

Tsubasa Shiina is a shy, ten-year-old girl who just moved to Hokkaido to live with her father. At school, she keeps to herself and struggles to connect with her classmates. One night, she sees a UFO crash in the nearby woods and discovers its injured pilot, a man called "D.D." Alongside him is a monstrous alien called a Maguar, which had hatched aboard his ship. When the creature nearly kills Tsubasa, an alien lifeform merges with her, creating the powerful Riberus battle armor known as Figure 17. Together, they defeat the Maguar. The lifeform takes the name Hikaru and assumes the appearance of Tsubasa’s identical twin. Over time, Hikaru helps Tsubasa open up to others. But their fight isn’t over-Maguar eggs are hidden across Hokkaido, and until reinforcements from D.D.'s home planet arrive, Tsubasa and Hikaru must use Figure 17 to stop any more of the creatures from threatening Earth.
