Stellvia of the Universe - S01

In 2167, a devastating wave of radiation from the supernova of the star Hydrus Beta wreaked havoc on Earth, killing millions. By 2356, humanity has united to rebuild and prepare for the supernova’s second wave. To safeguard the planet, enormous space colonies called "Foundations" have been constructed across the Solar System. These serve as hubs for learning and exploration. Shima Katase, defying her mother’s wishes, enrolls as a preparatory student at one of these Foundations-the Stellvia-driven by her dream of seeing space firsthand. At Stellvia, Katase trains to become a pilot, aiming to join the "Great Mission" and shield Earth from the impending disaster. As she navigates the challenges of her classes and her messy social life, she gradually grows into someone who could one day save humanity.
