MEGALOBOX - S01
NOMAD メガロボクス2
Megalo Box is a high-tech version of boxing where fighters use mechanical frames known as Gear. During the first Megalonia tournament, "Gearless" Joe rose to fame as the champion, becoming a legend in the sport. But after losing an exhibition match to the next champion, he disappeared from the spotlight. Seven years later, Joe lives under the name "Nomad," staying out of sight and scraping by with occasional underground fights. Plagued by hallucinations, he dulls his mind with painkillers. After winning a fight against Chief-a boxer who throws matches for gambling money-Joe learns that Chief belongs to a group of immigrants called the Casa. They live on illegally occupied land, and Chief hopes to buy it someday. Joe initially keeps his distance but later chooses to help them.
