Wake Up, Girls! - Seven Idols
In "Wake Up, Girls!", Green Leaves Entertainment is in dire straits-their talent agency has no talent left. Facing this crisis, President Junko Tange decides to break into the idol industry and orders her overworked assistant, Matsuda, to assemble a girl group from the ground up. Finding ready-made idols is impossible, so Matsuda scrambles to recruit whoever he can. A maid café worker? She’ll do. A washed-up former lead singer? Worth a shot. A thirteen-year-old with no experience? Well, it’s not like they have better options. They’re far from polished, and success is anything but guaranteed. But with determination and effort, this ragtag group might just have what it takes to make Japan notice the "Wake Up, Girls!"
