Memories

"Memories" is a collection of three distinct short films, each with its own genre and story. "Magnetic Rose" Deep in space, engineers Heintz Beckner and Miguel Costrela follow a distress signal to an abandoned space station, where they discover a crumbling mansion. As they explore, they uncover the grim fate of Eva Friedel, a once-famous opera singer with a troubled past. But the station holds more than just memories-soon, hallucinations grip them, forcing the two to battle their own minds if they hope to survive. "Stink Bomb" Nobuo Tanaka, a clumsy lab technician, takes what he thinks are cold medicine pills-only to realize they’re experimental drugs that turn his gas into a deadly weapon. As the toxic fumes wipe out everyone around him, his bosses order him to head to company headquarters in Tokyo. With the military, police, and foreign agents chasing him, Nobuo’s journey becomes a bizarre struggle to contain his lethal stench. "Cannon Fodder" In a city dominated by cannons, a young boy dreams of outshining his father by joining the ranks of the artillery. Though there’s no real enemy in sight, the city’s daily bombardments continue, and the boy eagerly absorbs every lesson, from school drills to bedtime stories. His only wish is to fire a cannon himself-all in the name of his homeland.
