À double tour

This story presents an alternate version of the "Appleseed" universe, separate from the previous movie continuity-even though it shares the same director. It reimagines the origins of Deunan Knute and Briareos, who are already partnered as a cyborg and human duo, unlike earlier adaptations where they reunited later in Olympus. Set in the 22nd century, "Appleseed Alpha" follows Deunan and Briareos as they traverse the ruins of a dystopian New York, hoping to reach the fabled city of Olympus. After taking a job from Two Horns, a local warlord, to destroy rogue combat machines, they cross paths with Iris and Olson, who are on their own mission. The two teams form an alliance, joining forces to stop the rogue cyborg Talos, who seeks to seize a powerful secret weapon. When Talos manipulates Iris into awakening a massive war machine, the group must act fast to prevent catastrophe.
