Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time

After NERV’s failed effort to recover the Spears of Longinus and complete the Human Instrumentality Project, the devastation of the Fourth Impact was narrowly prevented. Shinji Ikari, Asuka Langley Shikinami, and Rei Ayanami, now scattered and lost, find their way to Village 3-a rare haven untouched by Earth’s ruin. Here, Shinji begins to confront his past, building a new life far removed from his days as an Evangelion pilot. Yet NERV is already preparing another Impact to resume the Instrumentality Project. When WILLE’s flagship airship arrives at the village, Shinji chooses to join them, convinced he can still make a difference by returning to the Eva’s cockpit. As hidden truths come to light and WILLE and NERV move toward a final confrontation, the fate of the world teeters on the edge.
