True Tears - S01

Shinichirou Nakagami seemed to have it all-living in the same house as the brilliant and admired Hiromi Yuasa, a life other boys his age envied. But since her mother's death, Hiromi has grown distant and gloomy at home, despite her usual bright demeanor. While Shinichirou deals with the misplaced jealousy of his classmates, things take a strange turn when he crosses paths with Noe Isurugi, a girl infamous for placing curses on others-curses that somehow always come true. Noe curses Shinichirou too, but curses have consequences-they create two wounds. Her curse rebounds, harming her treasured chicken, Raigomaru, who turns into a raccoon. Yet Noe doesn't cry; her tears were stolen long ago. To regain them, she needs someone else's tears-and Shinichirou knows exactly whose tears he wants to take.
