Arrietty

During a summer stay at his aunt's house, the frail young boy Shou stumbles upon something extraordinary: after following the family cat into the bushes, he spots a tiny girl no bigger than his finger. She belongs to a race known as "Borrowers," who live by taking small, unnoticed bits from humans. The girl, named Arrietty, reveals that she lives in the basement with her parents, Pod and Homily. Shou is thrilled by the idea of having such unusual neighbors. But he doesn’t fully grasp the hardships they endure. Besides hiding from humans, they must venture into dangerous territory-both inside the house and outside-just to survive. Ignoring her parents' concerns, Arrietty forms a bond with Shou, setting off a chain of events that could alter their lives forever. This is the touching story of an unlikely friendship that bridges the divide between two very different worlds.
