The aquatope on white sand - S01

Fuuka Miyazawa has just walked away from her life as an idol, unsure of what comes next. Instead of going home to Morioka, she impulsively boards a plane to Okinawa, lost and adrift. While wandering aimlessly, she discovers Gama Gama Aquarium-a small, struggling facility on the brink of closure. The aquarium’s director is ready to shut it down for good at summer’s end, overwhelmed by dwindling visitors and expensive repairs. His granddaughter, Kukuru Misakino, refuses to accept this fate. She loves the aquarium and its marine life too much to let it disappear without a fight. Determined to raise enough money in time, she throws herself into the effort. When Fuuka sees the charm of Gama Gama, she pleads with Kukuru for a job, hoping to contribute. But her inexperience makes her more of a burden than a help, while Kukuru begins to doubt whether her ambitious plan is even possible. With time running out and pressure building, the two must find a way to save the place that’s come to mean so much to them.
