A beach trip becomes more than just a getaway for two people grappling with grief. Maybe the enigmatic "Umi Warabe," a strange girl who appears when it matters most, can guide them toward healing. Yoshihiro Matsunaga is supervising a high school group’s summer beach excursion when he rescues student Nao Morisawa from drowning one night. A year ago, Nao took this same trip with her fiancé, who later died in a plane crash. As Yoshihiro and Nao grow closer, it becomes clear he, too, is carrying a painful past. Meanwhile, a mysterious girl lingers in the background, appearing at pivotal moments in their lives.
