Liar, Liar - S01

Hiroto Shinohara transfers to Academy Island, a school where student status is decided by competitive games-the more victories, the higher a student's star ranking, with Seven Stars being the top. On his first day, Hiroto unintentionally angers Sarasa Saionji, the school's feared "Empress" and granddaughter of the island's director. After a misunderstanding leads to a game he somehow wins, he's trapped in a lie: to avoid expulsion, he must pretend to be a higher-ranked student than he really is. Luckily, he isn't alone. The shadowy "Company," led by Shirayuki Himeji, helps him fake his way through the challenges thrown at him by rivals eager to take him down. Though just a One Star, Hiroto must play the part of a Seven Star while secretly searching for a girl who disappeared from his past.
