Yukitaka Tsutsui, a Tokyo-born schoolboy, moves to Yamagata Prefecture for high school after earning a baseball scholarship. Having attended Japan's top middle school for baseball, the locals eagerly await his arrival. But when he gets to his new apartment, he finds a strange man casually lounging around in his clothes, reading a book. The man introduces himself as Baka Ki El Dogra, an alien prince from the planet Dogra who crashed on Earth and has no place to stay. He's just one of many aliens already living among humans. Despite being royalty, the prince is a notorious idiot across the galaxy, happily causing trouble for anyone in his path. Whether he's tormenting his subordinates with absurd experiments, granting bizarre powers to random kids, or just being a general nuisance, no one is safe from his ridiculous antics.
