Kaiji - S02

Kaiji Itou is a down-on-his-luck slacker whose coworker skipped out on a debt, leaving him on the hook with ruthless loan sharks. Broke and with no way to pay, Kaiji is offered a way out: board the Espoir, a ship where a single night of gambling could wipe his debts clean. But the game is far from simple-it’s a high-stakes battle of wits and deception, where losers are condemned to a life of crushing labor. Kaiji must play carefully, choosing his moves and allies wisely. Yet this is just the first in a string of dangerous gambles that will push his cunning and survival instincts to the limit.
