Glass Mask - S01

A short anime covering the early story of "Glass no Kamen". Maya Kitajima is a poor girl with no obvious skills to help her in school or support her single mother. But she's deeply passionate about films, theater, and TV dramas-so much so that she memorizes every line after just one viewing and performs entire stories, playing every role, for anyone willing to watch. One day, she meets an elderly woman with a scarred face who insists Maya is the one she's been searching for. The woman has spent years guarding the rights to a "legendary" play.
