Eden of the East Movie I: The King of Eden
After saving Japan from destruction, Akira Takizawa made his last wish-to become the "King of Japan"-before wiping his memories and vanishing. He left Saki Morimi with his phone, its only clue a message: "I'll be waiting where our journey started." Six months later, whispers about Akira spread, drawing Saki to New York City. But she isn’t the only one searching. The remaining Seleção, flush with billions of yen and spurred by a call to "save Japan," are close behind. Some want to help Akira, but others are plotting to remove him, each pursuing their own vision for the country. As tensions grow and secrets unravel, the deadly game continues.
