BLAME!

Zuru, a young girl, leads her team through a ruined city ruled by machines, scavenging for food to survive. Their mission takes a dangerous turn when they accidentally activate the Safeguard, the city’s AI defense system. As the machines attack, her group faces certain destruction-until a stranger named Killy appears and destroys the hostile units. Though Killy saves them, Zuru remains wary of his intentions. He explains that he came from the deepest levels of the city in search of people with the Net Terminal Genes, a rare trait that could shut down the Safeguard and restore human control over their world. Convinced by his mission, Zuru and her team decide to join Killy on his quest, hoping this elusive genetic key might be humanity’s final chance for survival.
