Battery - S01

At just 12 years old, Takumi Harada is already considered a baseball pitching prodigy. When his family moves to the small town of Nitta, he ends up joining his new school's mediocre baseball team. Takumi doesn't mind-in fact, he thinks it would be more fun if this unknown team rose to greatness because of him. But there's one problem: his incredible skill means he needs a catcher who can actually handle his pitches. That’s where Gou Nagakura comes in. A fellow student and fan of Takumi, Gou is determined to show he’s more than just talk-he wants to prove he has the skill to catch Takumi’s throws. As the two struggle to work together as a battery, Takumi clashes with his teammates over his cocky attitude. But with his grandfather’s guidance, he begins to discover what truly makes baseball worth playing.
