86 EIGHTY-SIX - S01

The Spearhead Squadron’s vanishing act does nothing to dull the Republic of San Magnolia’s relentless propaganda machine. Vladilena Milizé still serves as "Handler One," commanding another squadron of the dehumanized 86th faction in the never-ending war against the Legion. Meanwhile, on the Western Front, Shinei Nouzen and his squad are confined to a military base under the Federal Republic of Giad-once the Giadian Empire. The new government offers the rescued Eighty-Six full citizenship and freedom. They’re taken in by President Ernst Zimmerman, where they meet his adoptive daughter, Augusta Frederica Adel-Adler, the last Empress. Yet, despite the peace of this gentle society, Shinei and his team know their place is on the battlefield. Soon, they rejoin the fight as part of the Federacy’s Nordlicht Squadron, with Augusta Frederica at their side. But as history cycles back, they come to understand that no matter whose side they’re on, the front lines offer only the familiar embrace of death and suffering.
