Welcome to the N-H-K - S01

Twenty-two-year-old Tatsuhiro Satou dropped out of college and has spent the last four years as a hikikomori, shut away from the world. In his solitude, he's grown obsessed with bizarre conspiracy theories, but one stands above the rest: he’s convinced the Nihon Hikikomori Kyokai (NHK)-a shadowy organization dedicated to spreading hikikomori culture-is secretly responsible for his reclusive NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) lifestyle. "NHK ni Youkoso!" is a darkly comedic psychological drama about Tatsuhiro’s desperate attempts to break free from the NHK’s supposed schemes and his own self-imposed isolation. Even something as simple as stepping outside or finding work feels impossible-until he crosses paths with Misaki Nakahara, a strange girl who might offer him a way out. But escaping his hikikomori life means confronting the one thing he fears most: the world beyond his door.
