Uzumaki - S01

In the quiet town of Kurouzu-cho, Kirie Goshima leads an ordinary life with her family. One day, on her way to meet her boyfriend, Shuuichi Saito, at the train station, she spots his father staring intently at a snail shell in an alley. She shrugs it off, but when she mentions it to Shuuichi, he admits his father has been acting strangely. He confides in Kirie about his growing urge to escape the town with her, claiming it's tainted by spirals. Soon, his father's fixation on the spiral shape takes a dark turn, triggering a series of gruesome and inexplicable incidents. As the horror spreads, the people of Kurouzu-cho descend into madness, their lives twisting like the very spirals that haunt them.
