The Morose Mononokean - S02

Hanae Ashiya may still owe a mountain of debt to the gloomy Haruitsuki Abeno, but he’s grown to appreciate his work as an exorcist. His rare gift of speaking with youkai has given him a deeper sense of duty toward these supernatural beings, and he remains determined to guide them back to their rightful place in the Underworld. Just as Ashiya’s life starts to settle, the youkai stir up trouble again. Word of his role at the Mononokean - a mystical tea room bridging worlds - has gotten out, and not all are pleased that a human is involved. But when a routine trip to the Underworld catches the eye of powerful figures, Ashiya realizes that some youkai have no intention of following Abeno’s lead.
