The Irresponsible Captain Tylor
Justy Ueki Tylor had everything figured out: enlist in the military, land an easy desk job, and coast into retirement with a hefty pension. But his perfect plan went sideways when he stumbled into a hostage crisis and somehow rescued an admiral. Now Tylor-a guy who wouldn’t recognize discipline if it kicked him in the rear-has been handed command of the rundown space cruiser Soyokaze. His crew is a chaotic bunch of misfits, and they aren’t exactly thrilled about their lazy new captain. But they’ll have to find a way to get along, because they’re up against the powerful Raalgon Empire. Like it or not, Earth’s future now rests with a man who’s either a complete fool-or a secret genius.
