The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity - S01

Kikyo Private Academy and Chidori Public High School couldn’t be more different. Kikyo is an elite school for refined young women from prestigious families, while Chidori is notorious for its rough-and-tumble delinquents. Naturally, their students don’t get along. Rintarou Tsumugi, a Chidori student, towers over others with an intimidating look, but he’s actually kindhearted-though most people avoid him anyway. One day, while working at his family’s pastry shop, he serves a customer who bolts after a brief encounter. The next day, she returns to apologize, introducing herself as the lively Kaoruko Waguri. Rintarou is grateful that Kaoruko sees past his tough exterior, and he eagerly awaits their next meeting. But when he learns she attends Kikyo, their budding friendship will test the rigid social divides between their schools.
