Sweetness & Lightning - S01

After losing his wife, Kouhei Inuzuka does his best to raise his young daughter Tsumugi, but his limited cooking skills and busy teaching job leave them relying on convenience store meals. Feeling guilty about not providing proper meals, Kouhei accepts an invitation from his student, Kotori Iida, to dine at her family's restaurant. However, they soon learn the restaurant is often closed because Kotori's mother is frequently away, leaving the girl to eat alone. Moved by Kotori's loneliness, Kouhei agrees to keep visiting the restaurant with Tsumugi, where they cook and share homemade meals together. "Amaama to Inazuma" tells the gentle story of a father striving to bring joy to his daughter while reflecting on the importance of home-cooked food, family bonds, and the simple warmth of shared meals.
