Spirit of Wonder: Scientific Boys Club - S01

The fifty-year-old Scientific Boys Club decides to build a ship that sails to Mars using the "Ethereal Current," a theory proposed by the wife of one of its members. She believed the universe was filled with Ethereal energy, and the club uses this concept to journey to Mars. Their goal is to confirm an old theory about channels on Mars supposedly built by Martians, but they find no signs of life. Decades later, when both theories are dismissed as nonsense, a Mars expedition uncovers a stone engraved with the words "Scientific Boys Club 1954."
