Sound! Euphonium The Movie: Welcome to the Kitauji High School Concert Band

Kumiko Oumae, a talented euphonium player, vowed to quit music after a disappointing experience at her middle school's regional band competition. Now starting high school, she hopes to leave that chapter behind-but life has other plans. She soon finds herself surrounded by classmates passionate about the brass band, including new faces like Hazuki Katou, a beginner on the tuba; Sapphire Kawashima, an experienced contrabass player; and Asuka Tanaka, the band's vice president and fellow euphonium player. Some are familiar, like her childhood friend Shuuichi Tsukamoto, who switched from horn to trombone, and Reina Kousaka, a trumpeter from her old band. Yet the band itself is a mess. Though they dream of reaching the national competition, their current state makes even performing at the local festival seem impossible. Their only hope lies with Noboru Taki, their new band advisor, who might be able to turn things around-if he can bring order to the chaos.
