Schwarzes Marken - S01

The year is 1983, and the Cold War rages on. Humanity faces a relentless threat from the alien invaders known as "BETA," whose sole purpose is to exterminate all life. To fight back, soldiers pilot massive combat suits called Tactical Surface Fighters (TSF),but the front lines continue crumbling as the enemy advances toward the last remaining cities. "Schwarzesmarken" follows Second Lieutenant Theodor Eberbach and the 666th TSF squadron, a brutal East German unit that prioritizes mission success above all else-even human lives. Under the command of war hero Captain Irisdina Bernhard, they specialize in high-risk counterattacks against the deadly laser-class BETA. But when an idealistic rookie, Katia Waldheim, joins their ranks, she unwittingly draws the scrutiny of East Germany's secret police, the Stasi. Now, the 666th squadron must contend with not only the alien menace but also the shadows of political intrigue closing in around them.
