Queen Millennia - S01
The year is 1999. Amamori Hajime is an ordinary elementary school kid, spending his days studying and goofing around with his friends. But his life takes a sudden turn when his father’s experimental device explodes, destroying their home and leaving him orphaned. Hajime is taken in by his uncle, an astronomer, and moves into the observatory. There, he reunites with Yukino Yayoi, a girl he’s had a crush on. He learns she works as his uncle’s assistant and helps run her family’s ramen shop-a lucky break for Hajime. But Yayoi has a secret. She’s the Millennial Queen ("Sen-Nen Joou"),sent by her home planet, LaMetal, to prepare for Earth’s impending destruction. LaMetal’s highly elliptical orbit brings it dangerously close to Earth every thousand years, triggering catastrophic disasters. While her mission was meant to protect LaMetal, Yayoi has her own plan: to save as many humans as possible by evacuating them to her planet before Earth is wiped out. Yet someone stands in her way-the leader of the Millennial Thieves. His motives for opposing her are unclear, as is how he even knows about the Millennial Queen’s existence.
