Paradox Live THE ANIMATION - S01

In a future dominated by hip-hop culture, rappers perform in dazzling spectacles called Phantom Lives. Using a substance called "Phantometal," which reacts to their DNA, they transform raw emotions into stunning illusions for their audiences. But there’s a cost-each performance forces them to relive their deepest traumas and painful memories through Trap Reactions. The stronger their emotions, the worse the toll, sometimes leaving lasting scars on their minds. Ten years after vanishing without explanation, the legendary CLUB Paradox suddenly reappears, announcing a new Phantom Live tournament: Paradox Live. With a staggering 10 billion yen prize at stake, four renowned crews-BAE, The Cat’s Whiskers, cozmez, and Akanyatsura-are called to compete. Though suspicious of the event’s sudden return, each group has its own reasons for joining. But as the contest unfolds, they may find the road to victory far darker and more brutal than they ever expected.
