Paradise Kiss - S01

On her way home from school, Yukari Hayasaka is stopped by a strange-looking man with spiky blond hair, a spiked choker, and several face piercings. He stares at her intently, making her uncomfortable, so she quickly runs away-only to collide with a tall, striking woman with purple hair and a floral pattern around one eye. The shock makes Yukari faint, and when she wakes up, she finds herself in a strange place called the Atelier. She soon learns that these odd strangers are fashion designers from Yazawa Art Academy, the most prestigious art school around. Their group wants Yukari to model for their brand in the academy’s upcoming show. Uninterested, Yukari refuses and escapes, but in her hurry, she leaves her school ID behind. When George Koizumi, the group’s head designer, finds it, he becomes determined to recruit her, convinced she’s the perfect model they need. Yukari has never thought about modeling before-it seems too frivolous. But as she gets drawn into their world, she wonders if life among these eccentric artists could actually be enjoyable. Or will she lose herself in their intense world of passion and creativity?
