Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World - S02

More than a hundred years ago, astral mages fleeing persecution from the Empire united to form the Nebulis Sovereignty, led by the three founding families: the Lou, Hydra, and Zoa. Under Millavair Lou Nebulis VIII, the Sovereignty seeks to reduce casualties in their war with the Empire-a policy the extremist Zoa family opposes. As tensions grow between the families ahead of the election for the next leader, the Zoas will stop at nothing to seize power, even if their victory could plunge the world into total war. Princess Aliceliese "Alice" Lou Nebulis XI has no choice but to forge alliances, no matter how unlikely, to pursue her goal of ending the long and bloody conflict. This includes an uneasy partnership with Iska, one of the Empire's strongest warriors and her fiercest rival.
