Mobile Suit Victory Gundam - S01
In the year 153 of the Universal Century, the oppressive Zanscare Empire has seized control of Side 2, a space colony beyond Earth's orbit. Like the fallen Principality of Zeon and the later Crossbone Vanguard before them, Zanscare rules with brutality, carrying out public executions with a massive guillotine. Üso Ewin, a space immigrant living in Central Europe, joins the League Militaire-a civilian militia disillusioned with the Earth Federation's failure to resist Zanscare's tyranny. When Üso's dormant Newtype psychic abilities awaken, he becomes the pilot of the Victory Gundam, the only mobile suit capable of standing against Zanscare's elite BESPA forces. Driven by his desire to protect his closest friend, Shakti Kareen, and find his missing parents within the Federation, Üso fights alongside the Victory Gundam, determined to overthrow the empire's rule.
