Mekakucity Actors - S01

On a sweltering August 14, Shintarou Kisaragi steps outside for the first time in two years. After bickering with Ene, the digital girl who lives in his computer, he accidentally spills soda on his keyboard. With most shops closed for the Obon festival, they have no choice but to visit a nearby department store to replace it. Shintarou dreads going out, but the idea of losing his computer is even worse. Unfortunately, his unlucky timing lands him in the middle of a terrifying hostage crisis. A group of teens called the "Mekakushi Dan," each with strange eye powers, come to his aid. Once the situation is resolved, Shintarou-along with Ene-finds himself dragged into their group. Their abilities seem to fit together like puzzle pieces, and as each member's past is revealed, the hidden truth that binds them all gradually comes to light.
