Magical Angel Creamy Mami

"Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel" is a magical girl anime series produced by Studio Pierrot. It originally aired on Nippon Television from 1983 to 1984 and later spawned five OVAs, along with appearances in other Studio Pierrot specials. A three-volume manga adaptation, written by Kazunori Itō and illustrated by Yuuko Kitagawa, was released during the show's original broadcast. This series was Studio Pierrot's first of five magical girl anime and the first to feature character designs by Akemi Takada. In 2005, it ranked 82nd in TV Asahi's poll of the top 100 anime of all time. As of spring 2013, the series is available for streaming in North America through Yomiuri Group's Anime Sols service. The first thirteen episodes received a limited DVD release via Anime Sols' crowd-funding, and a second set of episodes is currently in the crowd-funding phase.
