Kingdom - S05

In ancient China's Warring States period, a former servant named Xin climbs the ranks with a single ambition: to be the greatest general in the land. Fighting beside King Ying Zheng of Qin-who aims to unite China and bring an end to the chaos-Xin commands his own unit, the Fei Xin Force, on the battlefield. With power wrested from the influential Chancellor Buwei Lü, King Ying Zheng starts building the foundations of a unified legal state, aided by allies like the strategist Changping Jun and the legalist Li Si. When Qin launches an offensive to seize territory from the state of Zhao, their progress is stalled by the brilliant tactician Li Mu. In response, Changping Jun proposes a daring strategy: bypass Zhao's defenses and strike directly at the critical city of Gyou, near Zhao's capital. To execute this high-risk plan, a formidable coalition army is assembled-led by the tacticians Ou Sen (Wang Jian),Kan Ki (Huan Yi),and the warrior queen Yo Tan Wa (Yang Duanhe). They are joined by Qin's rising commanders: Xin's Fei Xin Force, Mou Ten (Meng Tian)'s Gaku Ka Unit, and Ou Hon (Wang Ben)'s Gyoku Hou Unit, each fighting independently. The brutal battle for Gyou commences, with Qin's dream of unification hanging in the balance.
