Kingdom - S01

In ancient China’s Warring States period, Xin, once a lowly servant, pursues his ambition to become the greatest general in the land. Fighting under King Ying Zheng of Qin-who aims to unite China and bring an end to the era’s chaos-Xin commands his own unit, the Fei Xin Force, on the battlefield. After wresting power from Chancellor Lü Buwei, King Ying Zheng sets out to build a unified, law-driven state with the help of allies like the strategist Changping Jun and the legalist Li Si. When Qin’s invasion of Zhao is thwarted by the brilliant tactician Li Mu, Changping Jun proposes a daring alternative: bypass Zhao’s defenses and target the strategic city of Gyou, near its capital. To execute this high-risk plan, Qin assembles a formidable coalition army led by the tacticians Ou Sen (Wang Jian),Kan Ki (Huan Yi),and the warrior queen Yo Tan Wa (Yang Duanhe). Alongside them march Qin’s rising commanders-Xin’s Fei Xin Force, Mou Ten (Meng Tian)’s Gaku Ka Unit, and Ou Hon (Wang Ben)’s Gyoku Hou Unit-each fighting under their own banner. The brutal battle for Gyou unfolds, with the fate of Qin’s unification dream hanging in the balance.
