Izumo - S01

A historical fantasy set in mythical third-century Japan. It follows Izumo, the young prince of Nakatsukuni, who prefers exploring the world over studying-unlike his studious cousin Dekiru. When a mysterious girl named Sanae stows away on an airship, she reveals she’s from the Naga, a hidden people with magic, though she claims to be from Yamataikoku. After Sanae is kidnapped by Takeru, a warrior from the rival kingdom of Akusa, and falls into the clutches of the wicked witch Yomihime, Izumo teams up with Navi, an orphaned glider pilot, to save her. To succeed, he must wield his country’s sacred sword, unlock its power, and face the legendary eight-headed serpent Yamata-no-Orochi.
