Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway - S01

One Sunday morning, after a long night of drinking, salaryman Yoshida wakes up to find a high school girl he doesn’t know in his small apartment-an unexpected new roommate. The night before, Yoshida had mustered the courage to confess his feelings to his boss and longtime crush, Airi Gotou, only to be rejected. He drowned his sorrows at a bar with his friend Hashimoto before stumbling home drunk, where he met Sayu Ogiwara, a runaway high school student. In his haze, he agreed to let her stay the night. Now sober but with no memory of the encounter, Yoshida listens as Sayu explains how she ended up in his apartment. Though uneasy about housing an underage girl, he can’t bring himself to turn her out-especially after learning she traveled all the way from Hokkaido. Reluctantly, he lets her stay, and their unusual cohabitation begins.
