Determined to find out why her best friend’s boyfriend left her for another man, the bold and impulsive Eiya Arakawa insists on confronting him. At a café meetup, Yuuga Oota agrees to answer her questions-but only if she can correctly guess the relationship of a random couple nearby. To his surprise, she nails it on her first try. Impressed by her sharp mind, Yuuga later invites her to a private discussion where he reveals the "Slave Control Method" (SCM),a strange device that can turn people into slaves. When two SCM users face off in a duel, the device messes with their brains. Afterward, the loser feels an overwhelming sense of debt, forcing them to obey the winner. Eager to test his own skills, Yuuga asks Eiya to be his backup in case he loses and ends up enslaved. He gives her 10 million yen to negotiate his freedom if that happens. Though unsure at first, his offer strikes a chord with Eiya, who secretly craves something more in life. She agrees-but when a shadowy group starts collecting slaves at an alarming rate, she finds herself caught in a deadly game far beyond what she bargained for.
