Cowboy Bebop - S01

Crime never changes. In 2071, humanity has spread to other planets, building settlements much like those on Earth-but with them come the same old problems: murder, drugs, and theft. To keep the chaos in check, bounty hunters roam the galaxy, chasing down outlaws for a paycheck. Spike Spiegel and Jet Black are two such hunters, scraping by as they track criminals across space. Spike hides his dark past behind a lazy, carefree attitude, while Jet wrestles with his own demons while keeping their ship, the Bebop, running. Along the way, they’re joined by Faye Valentine, a sharp-witted con artist; the eccentric young hacker Edward; and Ein, a genetically enhanced corgi. As the crew grows closer and takes on one odd job after another, a figure from Spike’s past resurfaces, threatening to upend their fragile peace. With an old enemy’s scheme spiraling out of control, Spike faces a choice: stay with the makeshift family he’s found or settle the score for the life he left behind.
