Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture - S01

When the Holy Britannian Empire collapsed after the presumed death of its 99th emperor, the lands it once ruled regained their freedom. Most joined the United Federation of Nations, an alliance striving for lasting peace, but pockets of the old regime still linger. Among them is Neo-Britannia, which seized control of Japan's Hokkaido after assassinating its governor, Juugo Sumeragi. The local resistance, the Seven Shining Stars, is trapped in a stalemate, unable to overcome Neo-Britannia's grip. With no other options left, they turn to the Nameless Mercenaries: brothers Rozé, a tactical mastermind, and Ash, a skilled Knightmare pilot. Despite being Britannian themselves, the pair have earned a reputation for defending the Japanese and eliminating imperial officers. With their support, the resistance might just stand a chance at reclaiming Hokkaido-and stopping another era of oppression.
