Blue Gender - S01

In the near future, humanity has fallen from its place at the top of the food chain. The world is now overrun by the Blue, a species of insect-like aliens that have taken over Earth, forcing humans into a desperate struggle for survival. The last hope for mankind lies in Second Earth, a space station built as a refuge, with the distant dream of reclaiming their home planet. Yuji Kaido, cryogenically frozen after being afflicted with a mysterious illness called B-Cells, is revived to find Earth in ruins. A military team retrieves him, but their mission to return to Second Earth quickly goes awry. As Yuji joins the battle against the Blue, he must face the brutal realities of war alongside the hardened soldiers fighting for survival. Their struggle raises a grim question: can they reclaim Earth without sacrificing their own humanity?
