Baby and Me - S01

Takuya Enoki, a fifth grader, is struggling with a life no child should have to face. A few months ago, his mother died in a car accident, leaving him to care for his baby brother, Minoru, while his father works long hours as a typical Japanese salaryman. Takuya has no choice but to grow up fast, sacrificing his childhood to look after Minoru. Between cooking, cleaning, worrying, and trying to keep his little brother in line, he has more responsibility than any kid should bear. To make things harder, the neighbors blame him for Minoru's constant crying. Meanwhile, he watches his friends enjoy their carefree lives, a luxury he can't afford. The road ahead won't be easy, filled with challenges and mistakes, but through it all, Takuya might just discover what family truly means.
