Baby and Me
Takuya Enoki is struggling through a tough life for a fifth grader. After his mother died in a car accident a few months ago, he’s had to step up and care for his baby brother, Minoru, while his father works long hours as a Japanese salaryman. Takuya’s childhood is slipping away as he takes on responsibilities like cooking, cleaning, and looking after Minoru-all while dealing with neighbors who blame him for the baby’s constant crying. Watching his friends enjoy their carefree lives only makes things harder. It won’t be an easy path, and he’ll face plenty of challenges, but through it all, he might just discover what family truly means.
