Aura: Koga Maryuin's Last War

Ichirou Satou is a typical high school student trying to keep a low profile. In middle school, he embarrassed himself by pretending to be a hero named "Maryuuin Kouga," which led to constant bullying. Now, he just wants a quiet life, though he finds the world around him disappointingly bland. One night, when he returns to school to retrieve a forgotten textbook, he encounters a peculiar girl in a costume. The girl is Ryouko Satou, a classmate who shares the same delusion he once had-she believes she’s someone else and dresses the part. The next day, Ichirou’s teacher asks him to befriend her, but he refuses, not wanting to revisit his own painful past. Yet when he sees her being bullied, just as he was, he feels compelled to help her escape the same fantasy that once trapped him. Maybe it’s time for Maryuuin Kouga to step in after all.
